Choosing Your Officiant
“Your love together is just too important not to have the best available
official  "up there" with you.  You only have one wedding day, one beginning
and one ceremony.”

To have the best ceremony, it takes an official who is both professional and
flexible.  Just coming out to satisfy the legal requirement and doing a run
of the mill ceremony is not what Rev. Janine is about.

Although ceremonies are not long in physical time, they should be very
powerful and set the tone for your marriage together.

Janine’s goal is to do a fabulous ceremony for you so that you may look back
on your wedding day, and be able say to your spouse:  "You know honey,
Janine did a fantastic job for us."

Wedding Kit
Upon confirming availability for your wedding date, Rev. Janine will send you your
" Wedding Kit " that includes a complete outline of your marriage ceremony.
You then customize the ceremony by choosing ( or writing) your vows, exchange of rings, spiritual reflections on marriage. Further choices include: The Rose Ceremony, Unity Candle, Breaking of The Glass and participation of your children or family in the ceremony.

Consultation
Reverend Janine meets or consults with the bride and groom at least 30 days prior to the Wedding to organize the particular details of the Ceremony.  If you so desire, communication and prenuptial coaching is available.  These sessions teach effective communication skills.  Furthermore, they touch on relevant issues necessary for living and rewarding and fulfilling married life.

Wedding Services

Janine's caring heart will support you through all your wedding plans.  Her insight and intuition will enhance the magic of your special day.

Services include: Creation of a customized ceremony; Telephone and personal consultations; Ceremony arrangements including your Processional and Recessional along with conferring with both the photographer and the musician or D.J. to be sure that your specific wishes are carried out; The legal joining of the couple in a personalized sacred ceremony professionally presented. Couples may call Rev. Janine however often they choose for personal coaching and to learn techniques for stress management.  Rev. Janine makes sure that every detail of the ceremony is just perfect so that you can be confident and relaxed and able to enjoy your family and friends and especially your fiancé.   

Rehearsal
Arrangements must be made at the time of consultation for a rehearsal if you’d like Rev. Janine to attend.  There is an additional fee for this service. They are generally held 48-72 hours prior to the actual ceremony.  All participants, including the parents of the bride and groom should be present.

The Marrage License
Prior to the ceremony, Doctor Janine must review your valid marriage license. You may secure your Marriage License application from any Town Clerks office in New York State, no more than 60 days prior to your wedding date. The License application is valid for 60 days only. You must both apply in person, bringing photo identification, Birth Certificate with raised seal, and the fee of $40.00. (If previously married, you must bring divorce documents). The Town Clerk issues your "Affidavit License and Certificate of Marriage" immediately and it becomes valid twenty-four hours later.  Office hours vary. A blood test is no longer required.  It is the responsibility of Dr. Janine to return the license to the Town Clerk after the wedding.
